Transform raw numbers into strategic insights through hands-on training in financial analysis, reporting, and data visualization techniques used by leading Australian firms.
Apply for September 2025Real-World Financial Analysis Training
Our intensive program bridges the gap between academic theory and workplace reality. You'll work with actual financial datasets from anonymized Australian companies, learning the same tools and methodologies used by professional analysts across Sydney and Melbourne's financial districts.
Each week brings new challenges - from quarterly report analysis to budget forecasting scenarios. We've designed this curriculum after extensive consultation with hiring managers from major accounting firms and financial services companies who told us exactly what skills they need.
The program runs for 16 weeks with flexible evening sessions designed for working professionals. Our next cohort begins September 2025, with early enrollment opening in March.
Core Training Modules
Financial Statement Analysis
Master the art of reading between the lines in annual reports. We'll dissect real ASX-listed company statements, teaching you to spot red flags, identify growth opportunities, and understand cash flow patterns that matter to decision makers.
Data Visualization & Reporting
Numbers tell stories, but only when presented clearly. Learn to create compelling visualizations using Power BI and Excel that communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Build realistic financial models that actually work in practice. Using case studies from retail, manufacturing, and service industries, you'll learn to create budgets that account for seasonal variations and market uncertainties.
Risk Assessment & Compliance
Understand how Australian financial regulations impact data interpretation and reporting requirements. Learn to identify and quantify financial risks while ensuring compliance with ASIC and APRA guidelines.
Learn from Industry Professionals
Marcus Pemberton
Marcus spent eight years with Deloitte before transitioning to corporate finance. He brings real-world experience from both sides - as an external auditor examining financial statements and as an internal analyst creating them. His practical approach helps students understand not just the 'how' but the 'why' behind financial analysis.
Sarah Kowalski
Sarah has transformed financial reporting processes at three different ASX200 companies. She specializes in turning manual, time-consuming analysis tasks into automated, accurate systems. Her students learn not just traditional analysis methods, but modern approaches that leverage technology for better insights.
